5k Rankings across the state

One of the things we have been looking to do but haven't been sure of a proper outlet for is 5k athlete rankings. After high school and college 5k's are the most commonplace running event you will encounter. What's fortunate about that is it provides a lot of good data to rank athletes throughout the year that you can be very confident about putting something together. With that being said we are aligning districts (sections) based very similarly to NYSPHSAA alignments (we didn't feel like recreating the wheel). With that being said give us some time to perfect out techniques and if we have something wrong, please reach out so we can correct it! Remember, this is for entertainment purposes only, Enjoy!

Section 1 - Bronx, Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess

Section 2- Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, Albany, Schoharie, Schenectady, Montgomery, Saratoga, Washington, Fulton, Hamilton, Warren

Section 3- Herkimer, Lewis, Oneida, Madison, Onondaga, Oswego, Jefferson

Section 4 - Cayuga, Schuyler, Chemung, Tompkins, Tioga, Cortland, Broome, Otsego, Delaware, Chenango

Section 5 - Wayne, Seneca, Yates, Steuben, Allegany, Wyoming, Genesee, Orleans, Monroe, Livingston, Ontario

Section 6- Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Niagra

Section 7 - Hamilton, Essex, Clinton

Section 8 - Queens, Kings, Richmond, New York

Section 9 - Orange, Ulster, Rockland, Sullivan

Section 10 - Franklin, St. Lawerence
